Once again Hlangana Lodge did not disappoint!! They went out of their way to make out stay very special. As it was part of our 40th wedding anniversary celebration we were surprized by the Lodge. Rose petal all over the bed along with a wonderful bottle of bubbly too. Not to mention the breakfasts, absolutely divine! The gardens are so peaceful and beautiful too. The sparkling swimming pool was most refreshing and clean at all times. Ruwayda welcomed us "like a naughty kid" as she knew about the anniversary surprize!!!!

The room was large and well laid out, however it was a little dated and could have done with a little TLC. That said everything worked and we were comfortable enough for our stay. My daughter's room was a little underwhelming as neither the TV or the AC worked. They were unable to close one of the windows and the water feature outside was a breeding ground for Mosquito's, which in turn led to them been bitten to bits. The staff were all polite and happy to help, it was located on the outskirts with ample parking for guests. Several nice restaurants are nearby.

From the moment we arrived at Hlangana Lodge, we knew we were in for a wonderful stay. The warm and friendly staff made us feel welcome right away, and check-in was seamless. The refreshing welcome drink was a lovely touch, setting the tone for a great visit. Our room was spotless, with every little detail carefully attended to, making it feel both luxurious and comfortable. We spent time enjoying the beautiful garden and the inviting pool area, both of which added to the peaceful atmosphere of the lodge. Breakfast was an absolute delight—delicious. It was the perfect way to start the day. Hlangana Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would absolutely return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special stay in Oudtshoorn!

It was lovely. The location is great and it was neat and clean. Staff were super friendly and I loved the affectionate black cat who curled up with me in the morning on my bed once I had opened the doors for some crisp air before the Oudtshoorn heat. Aircon also great to have especially in the area. Breakfast was lovely too.

We enjoyed the pool at this property. It was definitely needed considering the hot weather Oudtshoorn has to offer. The mini bar and aircon makes for an even better refreshing experience. Prices for the minibar was extremely reasonable considering the fact that most places were closed during our stay.

A beautiful secluded lodge with a small pool but very nice. Big rooms and bathrooms, excellent breakfast. We only stayed overnight but would happily have stayed longer. Staff were all very nice and accommodating. Our room wasn't set up as we had asked so they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite.

The gardens are beautiful and so peaceful, and the reception area with a welcome cocktail beyond the normal meet 'n greet. The staff went out of their way at 6am to make me a plunger coffee so I could read my book in the lounge while my husband was still asleep. I would definitely recommend this place for travellers and sporting sorts like ourselves, it is an oasis!

Ruwayda welcomed us with such a great smile and warmth of heart. The establishment is as beautiful as advertised. The loaction is great, and easy to access and such a relaxing atmosphere. While we went out to explore the town we just couldn't wait to get back "home" to this place at the end of the day. The other guests were super pleasant. The kids couldn't wait to enjoy the delicious breakfast served. Hope to see you soon.

A very brief 1nt stay but we loved Hlangana Lodge. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, close to Oudtshoorn centre & only 20min drive to Cango Caves & 15min drive to Cango Ostrich Safari. The rooms were clean & beds were very comfortable, we loved the little room for the kids which gave us a bit of space. We all loved the swimming pool, especially the children. Breakfast was lovely & we liked how we could order food in, especially after a long drive we all just wanted pizza & an early night. The staff were excellent - very friendly & helpful. We loved our stay at Hlangana Lodge & will definitely stay again when next in Oudtshoorn :)
